Meet Our Team of Talented and Skillful Healers
Maryellen Werstine
Co-owner of Boyne City Massage & Wellness, licensed Massage Therapist & Esthetician, Sound Practitioner. She has over 25 years experience and holds a national certification in massage therapy. She received her massage training at Health Enrichment Center in Michigan. Her skin care training was through an intense "hands on" apprenticeship with Master Esthetician Erin Halloran at Simply Skin in Brighton Michigan, and continues her education quarterly through Eminence Organic Skin Care. Vibrational Sound Therapy is a favorite modality of Maryellen's and she hosts group and individual sound healing sessions. Maryellen is also a certified professional life and leadership coach through IPEC, and offers coaching to help empower her clients. She utilizes a multitude of different modalities to cater to her clients changing needs. Maryellen is passionate about health and wellness and helping her clients live a more enriched life with sustainable results. When not at work you will find her with her horses, enjoying nature or traveling the globe. 
Jennifer Clasman- Ammerman, better known as Jenny, is a licensed Massage Therapist and co-owner of Boyne City Massage and Wellness with 10 years of massage experiance. She studied massage therapy and bodywork at the Mind Body Institute in Petoskey. She then continued her education to include silicone cupping, Thai massage, Ashiatsu barefoot massage and Auricular Acupuncture (Acudetox). Her passion is deeper bodywork, facilitating lasting results for her clients. She develops treatment plans for rehabilitation of chronic and acute pain as well as maintenance sessions. She also loves hosting spa parties for her clients and tourists on holiday.
On her days off, Jenny can be found participating in community events, hiking avalanche hill, or attending the local farm market. 
Jessica Jaroniewski comes to the studio with 17 years of massage experience graduating from the Everest Institute in Grand Rapids. Her favorite modalities are deep tissue, sports and pregnancy massage. She worked in therapeutic offices with chiropractors and high end spas, bringing a wide variety of experience. She is passionate about fitness, healthy eating, gardening and helping you feel better. She recently continued her education to further her deep tissue career, this time in barefoot massage. She is a mom of three, wife and wonderful friend with a bubbly personality. In her spare time you will find her barefoot outside with her many animals or attending one her children's sporting events. We lovingly call her the deep tissue queen.
Heather Fisher
2016 graduate of the Institute of Massage Therapy in Hancock, MI. She has practiced massage therapy in the states of Oregon and Washington, and has been practicing in East Lansing, MI for the last two years; until deciding to return to her hometown of Boyne City to raise her son. She is skilled in Lymphatic Drainage, Myofascial Release, Reflexology, Trigger point therapy, Prenatal massage, Cupping therapy, Hot stone massage, Gua-sha, and is a Reiki practitioner. Stella Grandy. Let's balance your body and mind! Stella did her training at Mind Body Institute in Traverse City, which included Deep tissue, Reflexology, Myofascial Release, & Swedish massage. Stella continued her training in ashiastu barefoot massage, taking her deep tissue skills to the next level. Stella uses a combination of many techniques to achieve her clients desired outcomes. She enjoys helping her clients feel their best! ABoyne City High School Alumni, Stella is also a photographer, and spends most her free time taking pictures. When she isn't photographing, Stella is usually spending her time outside on a boat, SXS, Ski's/Snowboard, Jet ski, snowmobile, or just walking through the woods!
Erica Philo is a licensed massage therapist and esthetician. She is a seasoned veteran in the spa industry with 15 years of hands on experience. She posses an array of skills that adds that special touch on the services she offers. Her mission is to create positive change in her clients through therapeutic bodywork and transformative skin care. She works closely with her clients to find the best route of care for their needs. Erica has a warm and comforting presence in the treatment room and ready to welcome you to the space. She will help you get your glow on!
Emily Olach
Licensed Esthetician and certified Lash Artist. Emily is a talented service provider with a passion for skin care and beauty. She received her training at Douglas J Aveda Institute in East Lansing. She is all about helping you bring out your inner glow. Whether you need some time for relaxation or want to work on skin care concerns, her services are molded to what you are needing the most. 
Colleen Hemstreet
recieved her Bachelor's of Science and Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer Chiropractic College in 1998 and has been practicing BioEnergetic Synchronization Technique for over 25 years. She is also a skilled and experienced massage therapist as well as a Usui, Celtic, Karuna, and Shambala Rieki Master. She utilizes many different modalities to assist her clients and their changing needs. She loves helping her clients to release stress in both their body and their minds to enable them to live their best lives possible!!! 
Rachel Eckenrod
A graduate of Blue Sky School of Professional Massage & Therapeutic Bodywork in Grafton, WI, Rachel has over 20 years of experience working with people to facilitate healing in many different ways. Rachel has trained with Yamuna Zake to become a Yamuna Body Rolling Instructor, works with crystals, sound and essential oils, is a Reiki Master Teacher, and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay. Rachel recently continued her education in Auricular Acupuncture (Acudetox). Rachel’s passion for healing has lead her to travel the country and now happily resides in Boyne City, MI. |
