Red light/Near Infrared, also called photobiomodulation, therapy is a simple, non-invasive treatment that delivers concentrated natural light to your skin and cells. With over 50,000 scientific and clinical studies on Red Light/Near Infrared Light Therapy has proven to be effective for almost any disease, condition or ailment known to man. Lets dive in deeper into the science:
Our bodies, much like plants, need light to grow and for the cells to function optimally. Our bodies respond to the full spectrum of light, however it's the Red Light and Near Infrared Light that penetrates deeper into the body to have the most profound effect on our cells. The combination of Red LED light in wavelengths ranging from 620-700 nm, and Near Infrared light (invisible) light in wavelengths ranging from of 700-1000 nm are required to have a therapeutic effect on the body. At that range, the cells absorb the light and it synthesize it int the mitochondria of the cell. The mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell and enhances the cellular respiration process that makes ATP(adenosine triphosphate) energy, which is the fuel for everything our cells do. The more energy our cells can make, the better our bodies will look, feel, heal and perform. It also creates a temporary, low-dose metabolic stress that ultimately builds up the anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant and cell defense systems of the cell (known as hormesis, which is also a primary mechanism of why exercise works). In essence, what this all boils down to is that near-infrared and red light therapy help mitochondria produce more energy, decrease inflammation, and help build the cell defense systems to increase resiliency.

Our Light is an extra large, full body size panel that can cover the entire front or back side of the body at a time. It was custom made for us with a Red Light/Near Infrared Light wavelength ratio of 660nm/940nm for absolute optimal cell penetration and health benefits. It's delivered output is up to 100 mw/Square cm which enables the time frame dosage to be quick at 8-10 minutes per side of the body. We spent much time gathering data to make sure our light panel has the best therapeutic combination. We deal directly with the engineers and manufacture of our light products to be able to bring this powerful modality to you at such a reasonable cost per session and to purchase for home use. There are many name brand lights on the market that make health claims but only a few that stand up to it. Reputable companies will share information and educate you on their product. |
